In exercise of the powers conferred by the second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Karnataka Tax on Luxuries Act, 1979 (Karnataka Act 22 of 1979), the Government of Karnataka hereby notifies with effect from the first day of April, 2007, that the members of the diplomatic mission of the United States of America to be the diplomatic mission to be excluded from the exemption of the payment of tax under the said Act.
