In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 12-A of the Karnataka Tax on Luxuries Act, 1979 (Karnataka Act 22 of 1979), read with Section 21 of the Karnataka General Clauses Act, 1899(Karnataka Act III of 1899), the Government of Karnataka being of the opinion that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds with effect from the first day of April, 2007, the Notification No. FD 19 CLT 2000, dated 22nd January, 2001, published in Karnataka Gazette, Extraordinary, dated 22nd January, 2001.
