Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Circular No.44/2011-12

In continuation of CCT’s circular no. 43 dated 31-12-2011, it is hereby clarified that the dealers who could not file the manual Form VAT 240 on or before 31-12-2011 can also file the same on 02-01-2012. The jurisdictional Local VAT Officer or VAT Sub Officer shall accept the same without demanding any penalty. It is once again reiterated that in all such cases the dealer shall upload electronically Form VAT 240 by 31/01/2012.
